Missing Man From Oceanside Found Safe
George Serenbetz, 92, was found in good condition Wednesday, a day after he went missing.

OCEANSIDE, CA — A 92-year-old North County man was found in good condition Wednesday, a day after he went missing.
George Serenbetz of Oceanside was reported missing about 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Early Wednesday afternoon, investigators determined that Serenbetz had taken a northbound train out of San Diego County, Sgt. Greg Stahley said.

Authorities contacted the nonagenarian at a train station, the sergeant said. After officers determined that he was fine and taking a trip to a known destination, they sent him on his way.

OCEANSIDE, CA — Police were seeking the public's help in finding an "at risk" man with dementia who went missing in Oceanside.
George Serenbetz, 92, was last seen in the 3500 block of Pear Blossom Drive around 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to Oceanside police.
Serenbetz is white, 6 feet tall and 185 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue, long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
Serenbetz suffers from knee problems and dementia, police said.
Anyone with information on Serenbetz and his whereabouts was asked to call 911 or contact the Oceanside Police Department at 760-435-4900.
