Man Fatally Shot Near Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre: UPDATE
Oceanside police are seeking two men Friday in connection with the possibly gang-related shooting death of a 21-year-old man.

OCEANSIDE, CA – Oceanside police are seeking two men Friday in connection with the possibly gang-related shooting death of a man near the beachfront Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre in Oceanside.
According to police, officers responded to calls of gunshots around 7:20 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of North Strand. They found the mortally wounded victim in the bleachers at the outdoor venue, adjacent to the Oceanside Pier.
The 21-year-old man, an Oceanside resident, died around 7:45 p.m. en route to a hospital, according to police. His name was not immediately made public.

Police said they are searching for two men in their 20s. Detailed descriptions are not available.
