Man Killed In Oceanside Hit-And-Run Crash
The department's Traffic Unit was investigating the incident in coordination with the Medical Examiner's Office.
OCEANSIDE, CA — A 24-year-old man was killed in a suspected hit-and-run collision along state Route 76 in Oceanside, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday to westbound SR-76 near Singh Way after a report of a person not breathing, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
They found an adult man on the shoulder of the roadway, police said. Personnel from North County Fire responded and pronounced the man dead at about 11:05 a.m.

Investigators later determined the death resulted from a hit-and-run crash believed to have occurred between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sunday. The victim was identified as Aaron Lee Keith, police said.
No suspect or vehicle description was immediately available.
