She was 81.
She moved to Oceanside in 1971 with her husband Jack and opened their first 7/11 Store. She retired after 23 years with the nickname "7/11 Lady," according to the newspaper.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the Mission San Luis Rey Parish Chapel in Oceanside, according to the newspaper.
