MiraCosta College Screening International Films This Spring

Admission is free, but seating is limited.​

OCEANSIDE, CA – MiraCosta College in Oceanside is screening free international films this spring.

The college's international languages and film departments will present four films in the original languages with English subtitles. Admission is free, but seating is limited.

The screenings will take place at MiraCosta College's Little Theatre in Room 3601. The college is located at 1 Barnard Drive.

March 23, 7 p.m. April and the Extraordinary World (France 2015): This animated adventure film ushers the viewer into an alternate reality in which the Bonapartes still rule France, electricity was never discovered, and a steam-driven cable car connects Paris to Berlin. Directed by Christian Desmares, Franck Ekinci. Rated PG. 105 min.

April 13, 7 p.m. Marguerite (France 2015): Marguerite Dumont, an incredibly wealthy woman, has devoted her life to singing opera, but she cannot sing a note. Inspired by the true story of Florence Foster Jenkins. Directed by Xavier Giannoli. Rated R. 129 min.
