Missing Oceanside Woman's Body Found At The Bottom Of Cliffs Near Camp Pendleton
Sara Otero's vehicle was located near a rest stop off I-5. After an extensive search her body was located nearby. Foul play is not suspected
OCEANSIDE, CA — Missing Person 28-year-old Sara Otero was last seen on January 28 in Oceanside. Ms. Otero was known to visit state parks and beaches and was known to camp in her vehicle.
On Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at approximately 3:00 pm, the Oceanside Police Department found Sara Otero’s vehicle located near a rest stop off of the 5 Freeway at a Vista View Point. After an extensive search of the area, Ms. Otero was located deceased at the bottom of cliffs nearby.
Foul play is not suspected. The San Diego County Medical Examiner will ultimately determine the cause of death.
