"The CA Redistricting Process is open to all who live in CA," said Patricia S. Sinay, Commissioner for California Citizens Redistricting Commission, "Even if they vote in their designated home state, we still want military families to engage in the state's redistricting process. Their local congressional and state representatives make a lot of decisions that affect them so this process is critical for veterans, reserve, active military, and their families.
Every ten years, after the U.S. Census, California must redraw the boundaries of its Congressional, State Senate, State Assembly, and State Board of Equalization districts to reflect the new population data.
