Oceanside Brewery First in North County to Offer Kombucha on Tap

Kombucha is a popular organic fermented tea full of healthy live probiotics that also happens to mix deliciously well with beer.

Oceanside Ale Works is now pouring GT’s Kombucha on tap in two different flavors.

Kombucha is great by itself or mixed half and half with beer.

The effervescent non-alcoholic drink is a great alternative to soda for designated drivers or those who wish to enjoy the atmosphere of a brewery with friends but don’t want to drink.

For those who have always wished for a healthier beer, beer-buchas might be the closest thing to one. Combining kombucha with beer adds in a probiotics, which are the gut-friendly bacteria your body needs. Kombucha enthusiasts say the elixir not only aids in digestion but also increases energy, and some claim it has even cured their cancer.

Kombucha has been around for many centuries and in more recent years has become the drink of choice for the health conscious crowd. It’s primarily bought in bottles however, Kombucha on Tap LLC, based in San Diego, is distributing it on tap to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, health related businesses and more. Oceanside Ale Works is the first brewery in North County to offer kombucha on tap.

Everyone is invited to a Kombucha On Tap debut party Thursday July 31, from 6-9 p.m. at Oceanside Ale Works located at 1800 Ord Way, Oceanside, CA, 92056. There will be live entertainment, free samples of kombucha, perfectly concocted beer-buchas and more!
