Oceanside DMV Hampered by Computer Problems
Driver's license and vehicle registrations can't be processed.

OCEANSIDE, CA -- A computer outage at the Department of Motor Vehicles last week was still hampering operations at the Oceanside office and two other locations around the state as of Nov. 1.
The Oct. 24 outage affected DMV offices statewide, but operations were slowly restored throughout the week. In addition to Oceanside, DMV offices in Costa Mesa and San Jose are also still being impacted, according to the agency.
The Oceanside office is unable to process driver license and vehicle registration transactions, Jessica Gonzalez of the DMV told City News Service.
