Oceanside Economic Development News: Open Now & Coming Soon

OCEANSIDE, CA — August is off to a robust start in Oceanside with many new businesses opening or coming soon. The Patch has you covered with the latest Economic Development News courtesy of the City of Oceanside.

Beachfront Improvements Project is taking shape. The project consists of a new wider staircase from North Pacific St. to the Strand, including landscaped viewing areas, 14 new restrooms, a new sewer lift station, and restoration work on the 1930s bathhouse to be converted into a Police Substation. Construction also includes a new north-facing storefront for public services, storage for beach maintenance equipment on the southside of the building. Project is funded by Measure X.

Ventana Village Commercial
Marcus & Millichap have two properties available for sale at 3510 -3520 Village Commercial Dr., located within Ventana El Corazon, a 70-unit residential community. The location is next to the Arena Califino, a 171,291 sq. ft. multipurpose sports arena and events facility which recently broke ground. The buildings offer 12 on-site parking spaces, outdoor seating, and wrought iron canopies
suitable for various businesses.

NOW OPEN IN OCEANSIDE

Shore Shot Shooting Simulator recently opened at 603 Mission Ave. in downtown Oceanside. This business is a state-of-the-art shooting simulator and virtual shooting range.

North County Roastery opened at 129 S. Coast Hwy. next door to The Switchboard Restaurant & Bar. They serve freshly roasted coffee and breakfast items.

Plantplay Gardens is now open at 1839 S. Coast Hwy. in South Oceanside. Plantplay offers unique house plants and pottery.

COMING SOON

The Lab Collaborative is coming soon to 250 Mission Ave., in the Pierside North Building. The Lab
Collaborative will function as a test kitchen for area chefs and mixologists.

Vigilante Coffee is coming soon to 1575 S. Coast Hwy. in the former Oceanside Beauty College site.

Curry and More is coming to downtown Oceanside at 600 Mission Ave and will serve authentic Indian-style curry.

FYI: Chick-Fil-A located at 3475 Marron Rd. in the Quarry Creek shopping center is temporarily closed for remodeling.
