Here are the top stories in Oceanside-Camp Pendleton today:

1. The Oceanside Harbor Parade of Lights is coming this Saturday. Considered one of the must-see holiday events in the area, the Parade of Lights draws crowds from near and far. This magical event is hosted by the Oceanside Yacht Club on December 10 at 7:00 p.m and is free to attend. 2. Kori Jensen lost her seat on the Oceanside City Council in the November election, but that hasn't stopped the questions about her residency. Since she was first appointed in January 2021 to replace the District 1 seat vacated by Esther Sanchez when she was elected mayor, many have questioned whether Kori lives in Oceanside or Carlsbad. "Not long after her appointment, some residents pointed out that county tax records showed a Carlsbad condominium as her primary address and that a residence on North Pacific Street in Oceanside, where she said she lived, was actually a vacation rental." 3. Carruth Cellars is holding its inaugural Ugly Sweater Christmas Party on December 18 from 2 to 6 pm. The Oceanside HANGAR 76 tasting room encourages customers to come decked out in their ugliest sweaters or just come for the live holiday-ish music from Jason Hibler. The event can also be a stop "for last-minute gift shopping, including hats and earrings from Mellow Minds, soaps from Sarah's Soaps, dog wear & accessories from Happy Mutt, and macrame from Hanging with Morgan."
