Oceanside Partners With Local Farms To Provide Fresh Food
City Council approved funding to continue a partnership with local farmers to distribute fresh produce to Oceanside residents in need.

OCEANSIDE, CA — The City of Oceanside announced Monday that the Oceanside City Council has approved further funding in a partnership with local farmers for local farm-fresh produce for Oceanside residents in need.
The project aims to improve food insecurity in neighborhoods that may be at greater risk of hunger and malnutrition in Oceanside.
Food distributions for Oceansiders take place at the following locations/times:

- Libby Lake Community Resource Center: 4700 North River Road - 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at 10:00 a.m.
- Crown Heights Community Center: 1210 Division Street - 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at 12:00 p.m.
- John Landes Recreation Center: 2855 Cedar Road - 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 10:00 a.m.
- Chavez Community Resource Center: 605 San Diego Street 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month @ 12:00 p.m.
- Community Roots Farm: 4510 N. River Road - Every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
