On March 22, 2016, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Oceanside Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in front of 410 S. Freeman St. When officers responded, they found 35-year-old Brandon Keiser shot once. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives interviewed witnesses who reported hearing an argument followed by gunshots. Law enforcement is investigating the possibility the shooting was not a random act.
