Oceanside Police Evacuate After Military Ordinace Found
The police evacuation orders at Oceanside Transit Center were canceled after a construction crew unearthed an old military shell.

OCEANSIDE, CA - Oceanside Police issued evacuations early Wednesday afternoon for S Tremont after a suspicious item was found in the ground. Bus service was initially diverted from the Oceanside Transit Center.
UPDATED 3:00pm: The police activity at Oceanside Transit Center is no longer in effect.
The evacuation was prompted after a construction crew unearthed an old military shell at a job site near Oceanside Transportation Center Wednesday, reported CBS8 news.
