Oceanside Police Launch Zoom Crime Reporting System
The Oceanside Police Department announces a new Zoom Crime reporting option that provides face-to-face communication with a member of OPD.

OCEANSIDE, CA — The Oceanside Police Department is launching a new crime reporting system through Zoom.
According to a May 4th press release from Tom Bussey, Public Information Officer for the Oceanside Police, the Zoom Crime reporting provides a face to face reporting function that is not present with traditional phone reporting. Also, it provides users with the ability to have face to face communication with a member of the police department, while maintaining a socially acceptable distance and not having to physically come into the department to report their crime.

- This incident occurred within the Oceanside city limits
- You are NOT attempting to report any of the following crimes: Stolen Vehicle Identity Theft
- This did not occur on State Route 78 or the I-5 Freeway.
