Oceanside Stabbing Suspect Sought By Police

OCEANSIDE, CA — Oceanside Police are searching for the suspect in a stabbing attack that happened Friday morning.

NIXLE ALERT: POLICE ACTIVITY in the area of the 300 Block of Via Del Norte in Oceanside.

At 9:02 am, OPD responded to the report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the 300 block of Via Del Norte. Police located one male adult victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital.

Police are searching for a potentially armed suspect. The suspect is a male White or Hispanic adult, 5’8”- 6’ tall, bald head covered in tattoos. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black shorts, and black Puma shoes traveling on a skateboard.

This is believed to be an isolated incident.

Air support is up in the area assisting in the search for the suspect. Please avoid the area. Residents are asked to immediately contact the Oceanside Police Department if they have information to provide regarding this incident.
