Oceanside Stabbing Victim Identified And Suspect Arrested

Oceanside Police have identified Monday night's stabbing victim of the incident that occurred near Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

OCEANSIDE, CA – Oceanside police have identified the 16-year-old boy who died Tuesday after being stabbed in the chest near Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

Justin Ferguson of Oceanside was declared dead at Tri-City Medical Center just after 11 p.m. after being stabbed in a parking lot at Mesa Drive and Cinnamon Way on Tuesday, the Oceanside Police Department said in a statement.

On Wednesday, investigators identified and arrested a male juvenile suspect wanted in connection to the murder.
