One Killed In Oceanside Shooting
BREAKING: One person was killed in an Oceanside shooting Monday morning.

Updated at 10 a.m. Monday:
OCEANSIDE, CA – A man was shot to death Monday morning in an Oceanside neighborhood.
Officers sent to the 4700 block of Calle Estrella near Calle Mariposa around 6:20 a.m. found the victim with a gunshot wound to the stomach, according to Oceanside police. He died at the scene.

The gunman fled in a vehicle described as a white Acura before police arrived. He was described as a clean-shaven Hispanic man between 20 and 27 with a "skinny face," according to police.
Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information on the case was asked to call Oceanside Police Department's tip line at 760-435-4730.

Right now, details are limited regarding the incident, but Oceanside police told the San Diego Union-Tribune that around 6:15 a.m. officers were sent to Calle Estrella and Calle Mariposa to investigate a report of gunshots.
Officers found a man dead at the scene.
Police are searching for a suspect described as a clean-shaven Hispanic man between 20 and 27 with a "skinny face," who reportedly left the scene in a white Nissan Altima or Sentra.
