OPD Respond To Stabbing Near Oceanside High School
Oceanside Police responded to multiple victims stabbed Monday afternoon near Oceanside High School. 17-yr old male suspect attends OHS.
OCEANSIDE, CA — A female victim sustained a life-threatening injury from being stabbed in her stomach in a multiple victim stabbing near Oceanside High School on Monday afternoon
At 3:27pm, Oceanside Police received a call of a stabbing with multiple victims adjacent to Oceanside High School on Horne Street at Mission Ave. When officers arrived, they located three victims. One female student was struck and sustained injuries to her mouth. Another female who was not a student sustained a life threating injury from being stabbed in her stomach. She was transported to Scripps La Jolla for surgery. The third victim was stabbed in the arm and he was taken to Tri City Hospital for treatment. This person is believed to be an uninvolved pedestrian.
The suspect is identified as a Male,17 years of age and attends Oceanside high School. As of this release he is not in custody.
