Operation Appreciation At The Oceanside Pier: Saturday 11 AM - 4 PM
Oceanside Chamber presents Armed Forces Day Operation Appreciation a day of recognition to all active-duty military and their families.

OCEANSIDE, CA — The annual Operation Appreciation returns to the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater this Saturday from 11 AM - 4 PM.
The Oceanside Chamber brings the business community and area residents together to provide a day of recognition to all active-duty military stationed on Marine Corps Base Camp Joseph H. Pendleton and nearby military bases. Thousands of active-duty military, their family and dependents are treated to a day of free food, entertainment and a fun zone for kids.
Local residents that want to show their gratitude can get in on the day of fun as this event is open to the public, and food and fun zone tickets are available for purchase. The children's fun zone includes inflatable jumps, a rock climbing wall, kid's crafts and face painting.

Entertainment includes music by The Spell band featuring Kenny Marquez and Tara B plus special guest performer Makayla Phillips. Makayla was an American Idol finalist and Golden Buzzer Winner on America’s Got Talent.
Participating restaurants include Buffalo Wild Wings, Pick Up Stix, Subway and San Luis Rey Bakery. Beverages are provided by Frazier Farms.

All Active Duty Military and their dependents must bring an Active Duty Military ID Card to get unlimited activities and a free lunch.
Free shuttles will be provided by the Riverside County Sheriff Department and 8-2-8 Urgent Care.
