Pedestrian Killed In Fallbrook Hit-And-Run

FALLBROOK, CA — A hit-and-run left a pedestrian dead early Thursday evening in the far northern reaches of San Diego County, authorities reported.

The traffic fatality in the 2700 block of Gird Road in Fallbrook took place about 5 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic lanes were expected to be blocked in the area pending processing of the scene by the CHP and the county Medical Examiner's Office.
