Pelican Sunset

OCEANSIDE, CA — Patch reader Barry Alman captured this photo on the Oceanside Pier of a Pelican Sunset.

Barry calls himself a simple amateur photographer. "I am retired from a long career as a high school, college, and rec league basketball referee. I worked as a golf course marshall at La Costa Resort for 7 years (2012-2019). I currently reside in San Diego near USD, so most of my sunset photography features La Jolla and Ocean Beach. I used to shoot in Oceanside & Carlsbad every day when I lived in the area."
