Camp Pendleton's Main Gate Reopened After Police Closure
The main gate was closed to inbound and outbound traffic.

CAMP PENDLETON, CA – An "erratic" driver prompted military personnel to close the main gate at Camp Pendleton Wednesday, base officials said.
The inbound and outbound traffic lanes of the main gate on Vandegrift Boulevard were closed after a driver approached the entrance "acting erratically," according to officials. Authorities detained the driver and checked the vehicle before reopening the gate.
The driver was being questioned by Camp Pendleton police.

All other gates remained open during the incident. North County Transit's Breeze bus routes 395 and 392 were detoured during the closure.
