Police Investigate Body Found In Oceanside Yard
Breaking: A passerby reported finding a man lying dead in the grass Tuesday morning.

OCEANSIDE, CA -- Detectives from Oceanside Police Department's Crimes of Violence Unit are investigating a suspicious death in the city Tuesday morning.
About 8 a.m., a passerby reported finding the body of a man in his 20s lying in the grass in a yard in the 2000 block of S. Tremont Street.
"Officers arrived on scene and located an 18-year-old White male on the ground with blood on his face and abrasions to his arm," said Oceanside police Officer Kathleen Vincent. "The victim was pronounced dead on scene."

The man's death was deemed suspicious and detectives were summoned to investigate, according to Oceanside police Lt. Matt Cole.
Police say there have been no arrests at this point in the investigation.
