Here are the top stories today in Oceanside-Camp Pendleton:

1. Oceanside beachgoers will need to wait a few more days before heading to the ocean, as bacteria levels exceed state health standards and may cause illness. Buccaneer Beach remains under advisory, as does every beach from Oceanside south to Border Field, according to San Diego County's Department of Environmental Health and Quality. The recent atmospheric river storms resulted in contamination from urban run-off and sewage spills throughout the region. The public is advised to avoid any contact with the water including swimming, surfing and diving for 72 hours following the rain. (Patch)
2. Are you ready, Oceanside? The new alert system from the Oceanside Police Department, dubbed Ready Oceanside, will provide emergency notifications from state and local authorities. Residents are encouraged to sign up for the new system, which will replace the previous Nixle Alert System, effective tomorrow. "Ready Oceanside enables first responders to notify the community in real-time," said Police Chief Fred Armijo. "This service allows for critical communication with the public and provides individuals with the information needed to stay safe or take precautions during hazardous or emergency situations." 3. Popular brewpub Finney's Crafthouse is coming to Oceanside. The fast-growing LA-based restaurant opened seven years ago and has expanded in North County for the last three years. Finney's Crafthouse's menu features "54 scratch-made food items, some of Finney's Favorites include the Yuzu Buffalo Wings, Kalua Pork Carnitas Tacos, and the Bison Burger. Finney's offers an elevated take on pub food, with a mix of shareable starters, pizza, tacos, wings, and sandwiches." (What Now San Diego)
