A veterans resource fair, clothing drive, classic car show, and a veterans memorial service will take place on March 20.

Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary will host its sixth annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day events on Sunday, March 20. A veterans resource fair, clothing drive and classic car show will open at 2:30 p.m.; and a memorial service honoring the thousands of homeless veterans who die every year will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The resource fair will feature 60 businesses and organizations providing information and services to the veteran community.
The American Made Car & Truck Show runs concurrently with the resource fair, featuring pre-1980 muscle, classic, vintage and performance vehicles.

“It’s an honor to be the catalyst for bringing vital information and services directly to our veterans; and to enrich, equip and empower them,” said Bruce Lazenby, executive director of business development at Rose Hills. “We hope that members of the community will join us for these events and take time to honor our fallen heroes during our evening service, especially those who have died homeless.”
These events are free to attend and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring clothing donations to benefit Working Wardrobes, a nonprofit organization that provides clothing and resources to individuals preparing for job interviews and seeking employment.
Applications for car show participation will be accepted through March 4.
