San Diego Co. Credit Union Raises Nearly $14K For Animal Shelters

Donations were collected at local branches during the "Presents for Paws" campaign.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – With its seventh annual “Presents for Paws” holiday fundraiser, the San Diego County Credit Union raised nearly $14,000 to support efforts of the San Diego Humane Society, Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center in Riverside County and the Animal Assistance League of Orange County, according to company officials.

The funds will be used to provide medical care for local shelter animals in need and to help educate the community about the importance of adoption and responsible pet ownership, the credit union said.

Donations were collected throughout November and December 2018 at all of SDCCU’s 43 branch locations in San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties as well as on its website, sdccu.com. The combined efforts raised a total of $13,783 this year.
