On September 8, 2021, at 00:22 A.M., Deputies responded to a radio call of a shooting that occurred in the 1400 block of Bakersfield Street, Lemon Grove. The reporting party stated her mother and sister had been shot by the mother's boyfriend, Pablo Eduardo Ramirez (DOB 3/22/71).

Upon Deputies arrival, Ramirez was contacted exiting the home and was taken into custody without incident. Deputies entered the home and located a 33-year-old female with gunshot wounds. Deputies continued their search of the home and located a 15-year-old female with gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to a local area hospital for their injuries. The 33-year-old victim is out of surgery and is currently listed in critical condition. The 15-year-old victim is out of surgery and is currently listed in stable condition.

Ramirez was placed under arrest for two counts of attempted murder.
Rancho San Diego Detectives are currently on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
