Serving Seniors Resumes In-Person Meal Program On Monday
The Country Club Senior Center's no-cost congregate meal program will resume in-person for Oceansiders aged 60+ on July 26.
OCEANSIDE, CA — The City of Oceanside announced the return of in-person operations of the Country Club Senior Center’s no-cost congregate meal program. The program provides Oceansiders aged 60+ lunch at the Center Monday through Friday at 11:15 a.m.
Serving Seniors provides access to nutritious food for more than 500 Oceanside seniors by providing 48,000 nutritious meals a year.
Congregate Meals
We provide a nutritious congregate lunch five days a week at the Oceanside Senior Citizens
Center. Served daily at 11:15 A.M., Monday through Friday, our congregate lunch is healthy,
balanced, and provides one-third of our clients’ daily nutrition requirements.

Home-Delivered Meals
We also deliver lunch directly to the homes of more than 100 homebound Oceanside seniors
each day. These meals ensure that seniors with limited mobility who cannot afford expensive
meal-delivery programs have access to nutritious food 365 days a year.

Serving Seniors was founded in 1970 as a nutrition site providing lunch to disadvantaged
seniors. Since then, we have continuously expanded our programs and service area, and
now work at 15 sites across San Diego County including our flagship Gary & Mary West Senior
Wellness Center and our three affordable housing residences. In 2019, Serving Seniors
began providing services in the Oceanside community.
