Downtown History Walk
The Oceanside Historical Society hosts the Downtown History Walks on the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Oceanside Public Library at 300 North Coast Highway (Look for the plaque of Andrew Jackson Myers.) Walks are moderately paced and take about two hours. Downtown walks are free and open to everyone. Nevada St. Nerd Market
The Nevada St. Nerd Market is happening at the corner of N Nevada Street and Mission Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. "Vol. 3: Free Comic Book Day" this Saturday.
Presented by Panels Comic Book Coffee Bar and Cynthia's Artistic Expressions, this free, all-ages market will offer comics, local art, gaming, live music, card collectors, cosplay contest, food, sweets and more. Nevada Corner Market is looking to bring together a community around comic book lovers, anime fans, local artists, cosplayers, toy/card collectors and video game fanatics.

Artist Awakening VI
Hosted by Ikigai Artifacts, this event in Artist Alley is a celebration of art, culture, music, and Ikigai, which is Japanese for "reason for being."
From 1-8 p.m. this Saturday, meet amazing local artists and musicians in Downtown Oceanside. The first 100 customers will receive limited Artist Awakening VI stickers designed by NuNu Ways.

Armed Forces Day Operation Appreciation
Operation Appreciation on Saturday, August 21, 2021. The Oceanside Chamber will bring the business community and area residents together to provide a day of recognition to all active-duty military stationed on Marine Corps Base Camp Joseph H. Pendleton and nearby military bases.
Thousands of active duty military, their family and dependents are treated to a day of free food, entertainment and a fun zone for kids. This event will span over 3 blocks in downtown Oceanside and will begin near the corner of Pier View Way and Coast Highway. Free parking is available in the Civic Center Parking Structure as well as the Transit Center parking structure.
The fun begins at 11 AM and lasts until 4 PM.
Taste Of Oceanside
Tickets are on sale now for Downtown Oceanside's premier culinary experience returning Saturday, Oct. 2! Taste your way through Oceanside's exciting food and brew scene one bite and sip at a time for $45 (food only) or $60 (food plus beer and wine tastings). The Friday night VIP Party also returns on Oct. 1 featuring a special guest chef, light fare with refreshments and live entertainment. VIP tickets are $125 and include a combo ticket for the Saturday event.
