Vegetation Fire Sparks Near Naval Weapons Station In North County
The blaze broke out just before noon, officials said.

CAMP PENDLETON, CA – A vegetation fire sparked north of the Naval Weapons Station in Fallbrook Wednesday, according to Camp Pendleton.
The blaze broke out just before noon and burned 5 acres, officials said on social media. Camp Pendleton's fire department responded to the scene.
There was no threat to the surrounding community, officials said.
