Volunteers Recognized at Camp Pendleton Event

Navy Marine Corps Relief Society volunteers with 100 or more volunteer hours were presented certificates and gifts during the semi-annual luncheon.

The Navy Marine Corps Relief Society of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton held a luncheon at the Pacific Views Event Center on base Tuesday. Volunteers with 100 or more volunteer hours were presented certificates and gifts during the semi-annual luncheon.

Left to right: Col. Eugene Apicella, the deputy commander of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and for the five military installations in the Southwestern United States, Jenny Vetch, a volunteer who received an award for 2,500 hours of volunteer work for the NMCRS., Kylie Butler, the Mainside Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society office chair of volunteers, and Sgt. Maj. Derrick Christovale Sr., the base sergeant major and sergeant major for the five military installations in the Southwestern United States.
