Walmart Announced it Has Started to Hire in Oceanside
Up to 65 associates will be hired at the new Oceanside based neighborhood market set to open this winter, company officials said.

Walmart has announced it will hire up to 65 associates to work at the new Oceanside based neighborhood market set to open this winter at 1046 Mission Ave.
Applications will be taken at a temporary hiring center at 1617 Mission Ave. in Oceanside.
“We are excited to bring a new Walmart Neighborhood Market to the area, providing local families a place where they can shop and save money to live better,” said store manager Joseph Cisneros through a written news release.

Applications will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. Applicants can also be submitted online. http://careers.walmart.com.
Full- and part-time employees will be hired, according to Cisneros.

“I want to give individuals the opportunity to work with Walmart and advance in their careers the same way I did,” Cisneros said. “I’m looking for employees with a great attitude and positive work ethic.”
Cisneros has more than 25 years of grocery and retail management experience and has been with Walmart for nine years, starting as an assistant manager at the Lakewood, Walmart store, and working in management positions in several departments in stores throughout the state, according to store officials.
Walmart’s Veterans Welcome Home Commitment, qualified veterans who have been honorably discharged within the past 12 months may be offered a position. For more information on this program check out the website.
