Sunday, November 21 - Scholastic Surf Series
Oceanside Harbor, South Jetty
The Scholastic Surf Series is a division of the Western Surfing Association dedicated to bringing team surf competitions to High Schools and Middle Schools. San Diego Middle School Division 2 competitions start at 7:00 am - 3:15 pm. The awards presentation will take place at 3:40 pm.
Thanksgiving Day, November 25 - 16th Annual O'side Turkey Trot
Oceanside Civic Center - 330 N. Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA 92054
North County's Favorite Thanksgiving Day Tradition. Recognized as one of the Top Trots in the country by Runner's World Magazine and the Los Angeles Times, the trot attracts visitors from 46 States and 460 cities.

Come "move your feet before you eat" this Thanksgiving at Oceanside's 16th Annual Turkey Trot 5-mile or 5K run/walk. Register & join one of the fastest-growing holiday traditions. Be sure to bring the entire family, as there will be races for everyone. The event offers a costume contest, the largest teams competition, fabulous live entertainment on the course, and finisher medals for all participants. Free digital photos, medals, shirts, and timing to all registered participants. The event has raised over $380,000 for non-profits that serve O'side residents.
Saturday, November 27 - Sip & Shop Downtown Oceanside
’Tis the Season to Shop Local with this walkable Downtown Oceanside shopping experience. On Small Business Saturday, enjoy tastings from your favorite Oceanside breweries, wineries and craft beverage makers while you explore Downtown shops, enjoy in-store specials and listen to live holiday music. Participate in the Oceanside Holiday Challenge along the way for a chance to win local prizes. For $25 in advance or $30 the day of, you'll receive 1- to 3-ounce tastes of local beer, wine, coffee, tea, craft cocktails or spirits.

November 27th – December 12th, 2021 - ‘Tis the Season to Shop Local in Oceanside
’Tis the Season to Shop Local is a fun, distinctly local holiday celebration inviting our community to explore Oceanside retail establishments and to shop local this holiday season. This unique and dynamic lineup of holiday programs and events will feature a new digital scavenger hunt, a craft beer and wine tasting event, a makers fair offering handcrafted goods, and a tree lighting celebration — all amid decorated shop windows, the glow of holiday lights and the cheerful sounds of live holiday music and carolers.
Saturday, Nov. 27-Sunday, Nov. 28 - Merry Makers Fair
Discover an array of handcrafted and artisanal goods for the Sixth Annual Merry Makers Fair in Downtown Lot 35 at Pier View Way and North Tremont Street, the location of the spring Downtown Oceanside Makers Markets and the Sunset Market Main Stage. This free two-day ‘Tis the Season to Shop Local pop-up market features local and area makers and live holiday music.

Thursday, December 2 - Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony & Gift Market
During this special Sunset Market, Oceanside will welcome the holiday season with a grand Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. at Regal Cinema Plaza. This annual holiday event will be filled with activities for the whole family from 5-8:30 p.m. Santa Arrives on Fire Truck and Tree Lighting Ceremony 6:00 pm.
