Ever wondered what you can do with all those tomatoes you’ve grown? Wanted to make a sauce for pasta or pizza? Or just have a jar of your own tomatoes for your family recipe instead of using a store-bought can? There are many ways to preserve tomatoes, from drying to freezing to canning, and this class will show you how to turn your summer tomato boom into year-round kitchen staples. This class will cover methods and safety practices of high and low acid preservation techniques, as well as dehydrating and freezing your tomatoes for future use, as demonstrated by MG and Master Food Preserver, Jenny.
