• Ontario Airport board meets for first time after FBI searches, weighs independent investigation (sbsun.com) — Ontario residents are seeing major changes at Ontario International Airport's governing board after FBI searches of several local officials' homes and offices, including one in Ontario. The board has reorganized its leadership, is tightening bylaws and stipends, and is considering an independent investigation into contracts tied to federal subpoenas, with more decisions expected at the Sept. 24 meeting in Ontario.
   

• Earthquake Shakes Inland Empire Awake Wednesday: Did You Feel It? (patch.com) — A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck near Ontario early Wednesday around 5:37 a.m., rattling parts of San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties but causing no reported injuries. If you felt shaking in Ontario or nearby cities, USGS is asking residents to report their experience through its "Did You Feel It?" survey to help refine quake data.
