11 Pounds Of Cocaine Found In Car Of Driver Arrested In OC
The driver was initially pulled over Sunday evening for reportedly doing "burnouts" near Katella Avenue in Garden Grove.

GARDEN GROVE, CA — Garden Grove police officers found more than 11 pounds of cocaine Sunday night after they stopped a truck for driving recklessly, the Garden Grove Police Department reported.
According to reports, the suspect was driving recklessly, street racing and doing burnouts on Katella Avenue in Garden Grove.
Police made the traffic stop just after 10:30 p.m. and found five packages that were heavily wrapped in plastic wrap behind one of the seats. After investigating, police found that the packages contained five kilograms — roughly 11 pounds — of cocaine were taken during the stop.

The driver was arrested at the scene and booked into the Orange County Jail, police said. His identity was not released.
It is not immediately clear what charges the man will face, nor is it clear how he came into possession of the cocaine.
