15-Year-Old Shot By Police ID'd In Orange County: Police
The 15-year-old boy was accused of stabbing his mother's boyfriend when the fatal shooting happened, authorities said.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Authorities Tuesday were continuing an investigation into the fatal shooting of a teenage suspect involved in a domestic dispute.
Santa Ana police responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 3400 block of South Main Street just before 10:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.
A man told officers that his girlfriend's 15-year-old son had stabbed him, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

Police said the man said the teen might have been under the influence of drugs and that he was vandalizing property in the home.
According to police, when officers entered the apartment they found the boy arguing with his mother while still holding a knife.

The teen, identified as 15-year-old Jaden Michaca of Santa Ana, was fatally shot in the confrontation.
The reporting party and his girlfriend sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
