3-Acre Brush Fire Breaks Out On 241 Toll Road Friday
Traffic on the State route 241 Freeway was stalled for miles as a result of a brush fire that broke out on the side of the toll road Friday.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA —Flames scorched about three acres of brush Friday in the Anaheim Hills near the 241 Toll Road Friday, but no structures were damaged and no injuries reported.
The fire erupted for unknown reasons early Friday afternoon near the tollway and the Riverside (91) Freeway, authorities said. Anaheim and Orange County Fire Authority crews responded to the scene, fighting the blaze from the ground and air.
OCFA Capt. Thanh Nguyen said the fire burned in "wide open land" and was not threatening any homes.

Anaheim fire officials said shortly before 2 p.m. the fire's spread had been halted at about three acres. Personnel were expected to be on scene throughout the afternoon conducting mop-up work.
