2 Injured In Destructive House Fire, 9 Residents Displaced
The fire erupted early Tuesday morning in Orange County and displaced nine people, including two children.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Two people were injured after a fire damaged a house in Orange County early Tuesday, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the 300 block of East Walnut Street at 3 a.m. and successfully quelled the flames, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
Nine people, including two children, were displaced by the fire after it engulfed the structure, the OCFA reported.

"Fortunately, all residents made it out of the home," an OCFA statement said. "However, there were two burn patients who declined to be transported to the hospital by our firefighter/paramedics."
The cause of the fire, which started in the basement, was under investigation.
