2 Killed In Orange County House Fire
The fire was reported at 7:46 p.m. Friday in the 8800 block of Chapman Avenue.

GARDEN GROVE, CA -- A man and a woman were killed in a house fire in Garden Grove, authorities said Sunday. The fire was reported at 7:46 p.m. Friday in the 8800 block of Chapman Avenue, said Garden Grove Fire Department Division Chief Paul Whittaker.
It took about 30 firefighters 55 minutes to put the blaze out, said Garden Grove Fire Department Capt. Thanh Nguyen.
The body of one person was found in the living room, when flames were put out, Whittaker said.

The gender of that person was not immediately known and it was unclear where the second body was found.
The fire wrought a total of $400,000 worth of damage to the structure and its contents, Nguyen said.
