3 Arrested In Slaying Of Pizza Deliveryman In OC
The pizza deliveryman was a good samaritan who intervened in the beating of a 76-year-old man in Stanton last year.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Three men were behind bars Thursday on suspicion of killing a good samaritan who intervened in the beating of a 76-year-old man in Stanton last year.
Henry Dipe Le, 19, of Garden Grove, Adrian Castaneda, 19, of Anaheim, and Damian Ivan Mayorga, 18, of Anaheim, were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of killing 49-year-old Juan Cristalinas of Santa Ana in 2022, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
The three stand accused of attacking the 76-year-old man, who was not identified by authorities, for unknown reasons in the 7000 block of Lessue Avenue at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

During the attack, Cristalinas, who was driving by while delivering a pizza, saw the assault and stopped to try to help the victim.
Both men were shot, and while Cristalinas was later pronounced dead at a hospital, the 76-year-old man has "made a full recovery," authorities said.

Le was arrested at the Mexican border, Walters said. He declined to say why Le might have been at the border.
One of the suspects is accused of shooting the pair, authorities said said. It was unclear if the others were armed.Investigators used surveillance video to develop leads in the case.
The three suspects have gang ties, Walters said.
