$415K Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — One lucky lottery player in Orange County has a Mega Millions ticket worth more than $400,000.

A Mega Millions ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at a liquor store in La Palma, the California Lottery announced. The ticket — worth $415,055 — was purchased at Palma Liquor at 5466 La Palma Ave.

The numbers drawn Friday were 2, 14, 33, 58, 65 and the Mega number was 3. The jackpot was $306 million.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers. The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number are 1 in 302,575,350, according to the California Lottery.

The Mega Millions game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings take place Tuesdays and Fridays.

The estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing is $331 million.
