9 People Rescued From Hotel Elevator In Orange County
Orange County firefighters rescued two families from an elevator on Christmas Eve.
BUENA PARK, CA — Nine people were rescued from a hotel elevator on Christmas Eve, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
OC firefighters received the report at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday from a hotel on the 7300 block of Artesia Boulevard in Buena Park, after two families found themselves stuck in an elevator after a significant hydraulic leak, Orange County Fire Authority Public Information Officer Steve Concialdi told Patch.
No one was injured and firefighters were able to rescue all nine residents in twenty minutes, he said.

"No one was hurt, and both families were very pleased with how quickly the firefighters rescued them," Concialdi said. "They wished all the firefighters Merry Christmas and took photos with them."
