AAA Celebrates Continued Partnership With Radiant Futures, Named Partner of the Year at 2026 Ball

AAA is proud to continue its Community Impact partnership with Radiant Futures and to celebrate being recognized as Partner of the Year at Radiant Futures’ 2026 “Back to the Radiant Futures” Ball.

Through ongoing donations and employee volunteer efforts led by AAA’s employee-led business resource group (BRG), Rise Up with AAA, the partnership supports Radiant Futures’ survivor-driven, trauma-informed work to build a safer Orange County for everyone.

“Where you begin does not define where you are destined to go,” said Paulena Escobar, Vice President of ACE Life Sales and Agency Operations, who accepted the Partner of the Year award on behalf of AAA and Rise Up with AAA.

“You are not your circumstances, no matter how heavy they may feel in the moment. Growing up, my mother experienced domestic violence so severe that she knew she needed a safe place for herself and her children. When she reached out to Radiant Futures, they answered her call. I was in the second grade when we arrived at Radiant Futures, and for the first time in my seven years of life, I finally felt safe.”

“AAA and Rise Up with AAA have shown up for survivors and for our mission in meaningful ways, and we are honored to recognize them as our Partner of the Year,” said Radiant Futures CEO Mark Lee. “Their continued support helps ensure survivors have access to safety planning, shelter, counseling and the resources needed to rebuild their lives.”

Radiant Futures’ mission is to use survivor-driven, trauma-informed practices to build a safer community by providing crisis help, including a 24-hour bilingual helpline, plus comprehensive services for all survivors, and education to help prevent domestic violence and trafficking. AAA’s partnership supports these efforts through financial contributions and volunteer service across key Radiant Futures events and programs throughout the year.
