Age Well Senior Services hosts entertaining summer concerts

Age Well Senior Services hosted special evening outdoor concerts on Monday, August 23 and Wednesday, August 25 at the nonprofit’s senior centers, Dorothy Visser in San Clemente and Florence Sylvester in Laguna Hills, featuring Pacific Symphony’s Symphony on the Go!

The mobile community concert experience is touring throughout Orange County, presenting chamber music programs performed by a group of talented musicians from the Symphony.

“What a great experience to have the magic of the Pacific Symphony’s Symphony on the Go! It was a perfect summer evening under the stars filled with enchanting classical pieces right here in our own neighborhoods,” said Age Well Senior Services CEO Steve Moyer. “We were fortunate to be a part of the summer concert tour.”

Age Well’s Dorothy Visser Senior Center’s Symphony on the Go! event hosted more than 100 people safely outside. Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks were provided by local chef Clive Berkman. The event recognized donors and volunteers with a special award presented to Age Well volunteers. Fifth District Supervisor Lisa Bartlett offered a warm thank you on behalf of Orange County Board of Supervisors.

Age Well’s Florence Sylvester Senior Center hosted close to 80 people. Guest enjoyed appetizers and drinks from Sapphire Catering while they listened to the performers under a colorful sunset that gradually faded into the overhead string of lights. Moyer said it was a wonderful neighborhood night to reconnect with our community.
