COSTA MESA, CA — El Pollo Loco has added chicken tenders to its menu, as of earlier this month.
The Costa Mesa-based brand is selling its Loco Tenders for a limited time, El Pollo Loco announced April 23 in a news release. They will be available in classic and spicy, and will be sold in two-, three, or four-piece meals.
“We’ve spent the last 50 years perfecting our fire-grilled chicken, and it’s something we’re proud of,” Jill Adams, chief marketing officer of El Pollo Loco, said in the news release.
“That expertise gives us the credibility and authority to try new menu innovations, whether that’s in our flavor profiles or cooking style — or in the case of our new Loco Tenders ™ — both.”
The tenders are served with smoky and sweet Pollo Loco Sauce, creamy Baja Lime sauce or House Ranch.
El Pollo Loco has over 500 restaurants across nine states — Arizona, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah and Washington — as well as licensed locations in the Philippines.
