ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Disneyland is set to close four attractions for seasonal refurbishment between the end of spring break and the start of summer at the Anaheim theme parks.
Pirates of the Caribbean, Sailing Ship Columbia, Pixie Hollow and "Fantasmic" will temporarily close in May as part of the standard refurbishment schedule at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, according to the website.
The four new closures join Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, Silly Symphony Swings, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes, the Disneyland Monorail and Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.
According to Disneyland's refurbishment schedule, Pirates of the Caribbean will close May 4 for seasonal refurbishment and remain closed through at least early June.
The "Fantasmic" nighttime show on Disneyland's Rivers of America will not run May 4 through May 7, May 11 through May 14 and May 18 through May 21.
Daily showtimes start May 22 and are expected to continue through the summer, officials said.
Pixie Hollow in Fantasyland will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays on May 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28.
