SANTA ANA, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle this morning in Santa Ana and the motorist driving that vehicle stayed at the scene to cooperate with police, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 4:15 a.m. on Bristol Street, between McFadden and Edinger avenues, according to a Santa Ana Police Department watch commander.
It was not immediately known if the pedestrian died at the scene or at a hospital.
The gender of the fatality was not immediately known.
