ANAHEIM, CA — A new restaurant concept spearheaded by a celebrity chef is set to open in Downtown Disney this week.
Chef Gordon Ramsay partnered with the creators of Earl of Sandwich to bring The Carnaby, a new British-themed restaurant, to the popular outdoor dining and shopping center.
The menu highlights several of Ramsay's well-known dishes, including Beef Wellington, Fish & Chips with triple-cooked fries and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Updated versions of Bangers & Mash and Cottage Pie are also available, according to the restaurant's website.
The restaurant also features a tableside Prime Rib Cart, which will serve guests hand-carved portions with Yorkshire pudding, roasted vegetables and au jus.
The restaurant's concept was inspired by London's Carnaby Street in the 1960s and features curated artwork, a graphic mural and soundtrack of British hits from the era.
The building seats about 175 people and includes communal dining areas, private group spaces, and a terrace overlooking Downtown Disney.
The Carnaby will serve dinner nightly from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. during its soft opening.
Breakfast and lunch service are expected to start in the coming months, according to a news release shared with Patch.
The Carnaby is located above Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, 1615 Disneyland Dr.
